After all the deliciousness of Thanksgiving, having a healthy soup, vegetables (and thinly-cut meat for you carnivores) will do your body good. The Aurora Asian/Pacific Community Partnership cordially invites you to a culinary experience at Old Town Hot Pot in Aurora (Havana & Yale), Tuesday, November 29th, 5:00 PM (meet and greet time). You each get your own controllable burner and choice of soup, with a couple dozen options for spicing up or flavoring the broth. Then the staff brings in fresh vegetables, beef, seafood, pork and more. You drop items into the broth and very quickly it heats through and you’re enjoying the feast. It’s all you can eat – but what you take, you eat – or convince the people at your table to help you out. There’s lots of sharing – just not from the same pot! Please plan to join the Partnership for this annual holiday party: good comradery, good food, and good fun. Let us know by November 22nd. We’ll hold your seat (pay $43 at the door to Old Town Hot Pot). Learn more and RSVP (this helps the restaurant plan appropriately): https://www.AuroraAsian.org/activities-events. Or, call and leave a message at 303-326-8695. Donations of new socks for the needy will be accepted at the party. There will also be a game with prizes. Come join the fun, Until then, Happy Thanksgiving!
